Lightweight plaster gypsum (interior wall leveling layer)
Lightweight plaster gypsum is a dry‑powder plastering material formulated with building gypsum as the primary binder, combined with lightweight aggregates, polymer powder, retarders, water‑retaining agents, and various other functional additives, and produced through precise batching and uniform mixing at the factory.
Performance Metrics
1. Appearance: Uniform gray-white powder, free of caking.
2. Dry apparent density: ≤1000 kg/m³.
3. Compressive strength: ≥2.5 MPa.
4. Tensile bond strength: ≥0.3 MPa.
5. Initial setting time: ≥60 min.
6. Final setting time: ≤480 min.
7. Workability: Smooth application by scraping, no sagging, and no separation.
8. Volume Stability: Pass.
Scope of Application
1. Apply plaster and perform surface leveling on interior concrete walls, shear walls, and masonry walls.
2. Apply plaster and level the interior ceiling and roof slab.
3. Local patching of old and new wall surfaces, screeding, and spot leveling.
4. Special plastering material for aerated concrete block walls.
5. Base-level leveling for various interior finishing works.
Product Advantages
Lightweight and high-strength: low density and light weight, significantly reducing the structural load; strength meets plastering requirements.
Strong adhesion: Bonds firmly to various substrates, resisting delamination and cracking.
Fire and sound insulation: Made from inorganic materials, it is Class A non-combustible and offers excellent soundproofing performance.
Eco-friendly: non-toxic, odorless, formaldehyde-free, and radiation-free; construction produces no dust pollution.
Smooth construction: excellent workability, easy to apply and finish, effortless troweling, minimal dust on the floor, and high efficiency.
Instructions for Use
Substrate Preparation: The substrate must be solid, clean, free of loose dust, oil, and release agents; excessively smooth surfaces require surface‑treatment to improve adhesion.
Slurry preparation: Add water according to the recommended powder-to-water ratio, mix thoroughly with an electric mixer, let stand for 3–5 minutes, then stir again before use.
Setting up screeds and marking points: Establish screeds and mark points according to the wall’s flatness to control the plaster thickness and verticality.
Plastering work: Apply 1–2 coats of plaster, with a recommended thickness of 5–20 mm per coat; if the total thickness exceeds 20 mm, apply in multiple layers.
Leveling and Compaction: Level, compact, and finish the surface before initial set to ensure a smooth, even finish.
Construction environment: Apply at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C; avoid application in rainy conditions, in areas with excessive ventilation, or under direct sunlight.
