Instructions for Use
1. Substrate Preparation: The substrate must be solid, smooth, and clean, free of loose dust, oil stains, delamination, and sanding. Cracks and voids shall be filled and leveled in advance with repair mortar. The substrate moisture content shall not exceed 10%, and internal and external corners shall be rounded to a radius of 50 mm to facilitate coating film formation.
2. Primer Application: Dilute the waterproof coating according to the specified ratio (typically 1:1 with water), mix thoroughly, and apply a uniform coat using roller or brush application to enhance adhesion between the coating film and the substrate. Allow the primer to dry completely before proceeding with the topcoat.
3. Topcoat Application: After the primer has dried, apply the topcoat in 2–3 coats, maintaining a coat thickness of 0.5–0.8 mm per pass. Allow at least 4 hours between coats (based on complete drying), and ensure thorough coverage to prevent missed areas or sagging. The total coating thickness shall be no less than 1.5 mm.
4. Reinforced Treatment: At vulnerable areas prone to leakage—such as internal and external corners, pipe penetrations, and floor drains—first apply a layer of waterproof non-woven fabric or fiberglass mesh, then coat with waterproof paint to provide enhanced protection.
5. Curing of Finished Products: After construction is completed, allow for natural curing for at least 72 hours, avoiding foot traffic, direct sunlight, and exposure to rain. Only after curing is complete may subsequent operations—such as tile installation or plastering—be carried out.
6. Construction conditions: Temperature 5°C–35°C, relative humidity ≤85%; construction is prohibited in rainy weather, during strong winds, or under low‑temperature and high‑temperature exposure.
